The first digit in the price of the car is revealed. The contestant is then shown a series of four items and the correct price for each item.

Each of the four items is matched to a specified one of the four digits that make up the price of an automobile. Thus, for the first of the four digits, the contestant might be shown a iPod priced at $79. That would mean that the second digit of the price of the car would be either 7 or 9 and the contestant must decide between the two. This proceeds for all four digits of the car so that the contestant has made four separate decisions and by those decisions has arrived at a guessed price of the car. After the contestant has finished making all four decisions, the player has an option to change any of the decisions made.

Now comes the "Temptation". The contestant may keep all four prizes and forgo an attempt to win the car or gamble that the numbers guessed are correct, thereby winning both the car and all four prizes. If the player goes forward and does not win, the contestant loses everything.
