Amber grew up as an only child with humble beginnings in Tacoma, WA. A dancer and natural performer from the start, at the age of 6, she would put on free "talent shows" for her neighborhood and travel to nursing homes to entertain and make friends. Her younger efforts paid off as she later gained national recognition as a professional dancer for the Seattle Seahawks. After five seasons with the Seahawks, Amber made the move to Los Angeles where she landed her first professional modeling job - a spread in Maxim Magazine, which launched her career. She then signed multiple international spokesmodel contracts that gave her the opportunity to travel all over the world, while simultaneously booking national commercials and print ads. It was during her travels she realized her love of interaction with people, and began hosting and acting.

Being raised by her grandmother, Amber grew up an avid fan of "The Price is Right." She vividly remembers the days she would stay home sick and get treated to watching the big wheel spin, or her favorite game "Three Strikes." She was convinced that the models were princesses, and never dreamed years later she would be one of them. When asked her favorite thing about working on The Price is Right is, she says "this is my dream job, I get to make people happy all day!! And the people I get to work with are amazing! It feels like family, which is a rare thing is this business." The worst part about her job? "I hate when we're playing a game such as 'Easy as 1,2,3' and I'm the last to reveal, if the contestant is wrong and loses - I feel personally responsible! It really bums me out!!" 

Currently, as well as being a model on the longest running game show in television history, Amber has recently begun acting, with guest appearances on television shows such as  HBO's "Entourage," and as a recurring character on the new MTV comedy, "The Hard Times of RJ Berger."

In her spare time she enjoys cooking, going to the beach, scouring a thrift store, discovering new music, or catching a football game. Amber is a supporter of the ASPCA, Special Olympics, Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, NBA Cares, Safehaven, and works with local battered women and children's shelters.
