More about me

I'm a 27 year old broadcaster from St. Louis, MO.  I work for CBS Radio, as an on-air personality for KYKY-FM (www.y98.com). 

I'm a lifelong "Price Is Right" fan.  In fact, when I was three or four, I used to host the show along with Bob, and at the end of the show, I'd remind people to have their pets "spayed or noodled!"

I also host an annual "Price" show for the American Cancer Society.  Plinko and The Big Wheel are currently stored in my garage.  You can see pictures of my show at www.myspace.com/sammypranny.  (Note to Fremantle lawyers: PLEASE DON'T SUE ME!) 

I consider myself to be a fairly "unique" personality.  I enjoy going out with my friends for drinks, Italian food, trivia, music, cigars and MAD magazine.

Music

I like all types of music, but I especially like classic rock and oldies, like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kiss, Eric Clapton, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, and The Monkees.

Books

Mostly TV and entertainment related stuff, and I'd highly recommend "The Late Shift" by Bill Carter, "Confessions of A Dangerous Mind" and "Bad Grass Never Dies" by Chuck Barris, "Here's Johnny" by Ed McMahon, "Live From New York" by Tom Shales, "It's in the book, Bob!" by Bob Eubanks, "Backstage with the Original Hollywood Square" by Peter Marshall, and of course, "Come on Down!" by Stan Blits!

Movie

The Blues Brothers, History of the World Part I, Caddyshack, UHF, Confessions of A Dangerous Mind, Man on the Moon, Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs...
