When was the first time he said come on down the first day the price is right aired he said stand up instead of come on down?

    If you payed attention to what I said instead of how I typed it you can clearly see that it was not my info but info from a site that is dedicated to TPIR catch phrases.So I am not rong the site is or you.I could not give a flying Drew dollar who is rong I just know it's not me.Is that okey with you Mrs Diane Chambers?I'm not your student and your not TPIR english teacher.

    It took a little research but I found the answer.It was in 1976 that Johnny would say come on down instead of stand up.

    I have no idea.That is a great question a question I was wondering about  since I bought The Price is Right DVD set and watched the early epps.If my grandmother was still alive I would ask her.Hands down she would probably know.But I do know this Johnny Olson was king as far as announcing goes.
