Public Disgust for Upcoming Season Changes

If any one wants to see how the general public that watches TPIR really feels about Rich Fields leaving, and the new direction, check out both of these sites and read through the comments. They are overwhelmingly in favor of keeping Rich, as well as leaving the show "just as it is". What are you guys thinking?

This is going to be one of... (if not "the last") season of TPIR. Please bring back Rich, and leave well enough alone.

Here's what would make the show better. Fremantle owns domestic and international format rights to TPIR, but CBS had the nerve to only acquire at least half of the CBS series' rights (as far as I'm concerned). I believe it's time that CBS bought the rights altogether from Fremantle and hire an all-new production staff.

I knew it! 99% is alot. Well I just keep saying it if The Price Is Right gets canceled due to all these bad changes I will BOYCOTT fremantle media 100%.No American Idol No x factor No Americas got tallent No LMAD.I won't watch any fremantle shows,movies or listen to any fremantle music.I will NOT buy any merchendise that has the fremantle logo on it.

TPIR's ratings are up 12% over a year ago - now over 5 million viewers. TPIR has twice the viewers Let's Makes a Deal has. So the question is obvious. Why change a 38 year-old American classic that is MOVING UP in the ratings? This is another NEW COKE debacle in the making.

Thanks for sharing these sites. WOW.. 99% of them ALL say this is a bad idea. I hope someone with some influence takes the time to read through these comments and see how bad of an idea this really is. These are not "telephone pole screamers" (whatever that means) but rather regular viewers. Just normal everyday folks who try and watch the show when they can, and who enjoy things the way they are. This is a sad time indeed for our beloved show.
