The ups and downs of owning a sport boat

Watching Amanda screwed up on a Subaru Impreza but won a speed boat sparked a few light bulbs. Between a boat and a car, here are 10 things you can and can't do with a speed boat in the way a car can.

1. You can't pull up to your favorite drive-thru restaurant, unless you're in Venice.

2. You can't drive your boat to the famous streets of Beverly Hills, since there's no waterfront.

3. You can't drive your boat to Route 66, unless there's a river near the famous highway.

4. Unless your house is located near the waterfront, you can't drive your boat to work.

5. Your boat won't protect you during a thunderstorm, a tsunami, a snowstorm, or any storm during your commute.

6. You can, however, sell your boat for a high price, good enough to buy that car you lose out on one of the pricing games.

7. You can take your boat to a boat race to win a few events, as long as you're buckled up to avoid a wipeout and a few dozen sharks.

8. You can avoid trains and traffic jams with a boat since a car can't avoid them.

9. A boat obviously floats better than a car, since a car sinks a lot faster than a Titanic hitting an iceberg.

10. You don't have to worry about changing or rotating tires, since a boat uses none.

Now that I finished the ups and downs of owning a boat, Amanda, to avenge your loss of that car, I suggest loaning a torture rack to give your friends a taste of revenge they won't forget. It's just a suggestion, nothing else.
