How many years have you been watching TPIR and why

I have been watching The Price is Right for as long as I can remember, my grandmother is the one who got me into the show.She watched the original version of it back in the 1950's with Bill Cullen.And when it came back in 1972 on CBS with Bob Barker she started watching it again from the first epp untill her passing in 2009.She has never missed an epp.And she liked Drew Carey as host as do I.

I watched this show from infancy. I could never wait to turn 18 so that I would be able to show my expertise at the games, which was increasing each year. I was writing down a bunch of prices as well to get ready...but when Bob announced his retirement, due to come a year before I was ready, it was one of the saddest things that had happened to me yet. My mother knew this, and wrote to TPiR personally about me...and for my birthday in 2007, I received a photo of Bob by the Big Wheel signed by the man himself! So it should be obvious that I (or anyone else with similar stories to mine) am not bashing what TPiR is doing now without good reason...you don't think that there is SOME possibility that I know what I'm talking about?

I've been watching religiously for about 20 years. TPIR501, I only just recently saw your post in the thread "Who would be best as next announcer?", the one that claimed that I "must be friends with sombody at fremantle or an employee of fremantle,because a true long time fan of The Price Is Right would never say the things you say". In fact, it's BECAUSE I'm a true long time fan that I come here and say the things I say. I invite you to read my back-to-back posts in the "Great job, TPIR staff!" thread, because they explain my personal positions in depth, as well as answer the question as to "why" I watch that you posed by starting this thread.
