Welcome to the new priceisright.com!
Welcome, TPIR Fans!
"Come on down!"
You've been hearing those words for more than 37 years now...The Price Is Right is the longest running game show in television history! The program is and will always be the same show you know and love, but you've probably noticed there's been a few changes here and there over the last few years.
We're excited to announce the latest change: This spanking-fresh, brand-new website--new and improved, and created with the TPIR superfan in mind.
Here, you'll not only be able to view clips of the show--you'll also get an exclusive glimpse at some of the behind-the-scenes action. You'll only find that here, and trust us...you won't want to miss it!
There's a whole area where you can meet other TPIR addicts, discuss the show, and get the dish on future episodes. And, don't forget to keep an eye out for personal updates from Rich, the Models, and even host Drew Carey himself! He'll be blogging regularly on the site, reading your comments, and keeping you "in the know."
Please do come on down, and take some time to explore our new site. We've got plenty of cool surprises planned for the future, so check back often. We'd love to know what you think of the experience--drop a line in the Fan Boards section or post a comment to this Blog entry with any suggestions or comments. We can't wait to hear from you!
Have fun!

I would love 2 see another episode where they give away nothing but cars and have Golden Road, Triple Play, and 3 Strikes all in the episode but that probably wont happen -

I would love to see Drew and Rich trade places as announcer and host for one episode. I think the April Fool's episode would be hilarious if Drew was announcer and Rich was host. TPIR is such a great show, I record it everyday and watch it. I don't miss one episode. -

We live in Tulsa, Ok and my husband's day doesn't start till your show is over. We tease him all the time. He collects car tags and would like to know if it would be possible to get one like is on the cars on the shows? Thanks, ejrose59 -

Uh..KjrOse- Did you not read the poster "Fan4ever"'s explanation on this? You need to write the producers. They evidently want it pronounced that way. And besides, ... the "right" way, is a matter of opinion. -

I'm the same way about the way words should be pronounced, like Antigua needs to be pronounced like it's spelled, so I sure hope that Rich will pronounce Antigua right the next time that trip is offered on The Price is Right. -

Hey isti24 - years ago I wrote TPIR producer Roger Dobkowitz with this same complaint (as well as chine vs. sheen with boats... but that's another story). To my amazement, Roger wrote me back and defended Rich saying that his pronunciation of Antigua is in fact correct. Here is the Wikipedia siting that was sent to me explaining it all: Antigua (pronounced /ænˈtiːɡwə/ an-TEE-gwə or, locally, an-TEE-gə) It's the... "or, locally" pronunciation that Roger wanted. So, TO-mato... To-mAtto... He's pronouncing Antigua the way his producers want him pronouncing it. Maybe your comment would be better directed to Mike Richards, rather than Rich. -

I have to comment on the pronounciation of Antigua it is not an American word and it's not pronounced "AntiGA" it is something like a "Q" sound but as in quiet but it's a "g" combined with the "u" Anti"gua" as in Guava - it's not "gava". I know that it's a "proper noun" and it can be pronounced anyway you want I suppose if it's your name but it's a not your name. Call or go to to Antigua and you'll hear the correct pronounciation. I know that Alex Trebek pronounces alot of words wrong too but I don't watch his show everyday like I do Price is Right. Say it right. Thanks for letting me vent. Please RICH pronouce it correctly PLEASE!!! It makes me cringe everytime I hear you mispronounce that word!!! Thanks again. -
