Hi Everyone -
Some of you wrote in over the last week or two about the Fan Boards being very slow to load and therefore difficult to use. As a result, we did some investigating, found the problem and fixed it, so the Fan Boards should be working pretty well now.
If you are not seeing improved performance please let us know by responding to this blog post with a description of what you are seeing.
Thanks to all of you who reported the problem and apologies for any inconvenience.

Thanks for the input. I am still experiencing the same issue, (Firefox crash) after 3 or 4 page views on this site. (never happens on any other internet site I might add, only here). The Firefox version I am working off is - FIREFOX 3.5.3 Is there a newer version perhaps that I need? This is not a huge problem for me, I can use other browsers like Safari. But I am only making you aware in case there is a problem on your end. Thanks for the interest. I am working off a new MACBOOK Pro, if you need to know. -

Thanks again everyone for your feedback! It looks most people are no longer experiencing issues, however a few of you still are. For those still having problems, i'd like to ask a favor... can you please email me some info about your problem. What i'd like to know is: What browser and version # you are using (usually found in the menu under "Help>About Mozilla Firefox" or "Help>About Internet Explorer." Also, what browser add-ons you may also have loaded since those may interact with our site as well. For those folks having trouble with the videos, try upgrading to the latest version of Flash and see if that helps, if not please email me to let me know... TPIR.editor@fremantlemedia.com -

That's the thing, though - if it's a problem occuring every 3rd or 4th page change, then wouldn't it have affected me by now? I don't think it could possibly be a Firefox-webpage issue... -

TO- Dookar - It may possibly a compatibility issue with Firefox and this site. But I don't think its my system, as I am having no other problems but on these pages. Also, it never happened before I visited here, and has never happened anytime since, on any other site, or pages than this one. (when using Firefox) So I still think the issue lies between this site, and Firefox. -

Firefox does not cause me problems, so it may be an issue with your system, and not something fixable on this webpage's end... -

I'm still having an issue.... When I am on Firefox, about every 3rd or 4th page change (on site site only) I get an error massage saying something on here caused Firefox to "crash" and I have to restart. I thought you had fixed it but its happening again today. -

Hooray everything works again! No more "sign in" problems and runtime error messages. I too had given up. Thanks for fixing it. This is a great website. -
